Advertising Chanel

Hello Ellie fans! A couple of days ago Chanel released a brand new episode of Chanel Beauty Talks, in which Lucia Pica does Ellie’s make up and the two speak of “The Little Black Palette” product. If you guys don’t know, that’s the product Ellie was shooting an advertising campaign with months ago. Our gallery has been updated with promotional photos from the campaign, the Chanel Beauty Talks episode and screen captures!

CHANEL BEAUTY TALKS – Ellie Bamber describes herself as determined and quirky. At age 4, this English girl with an aristocratic allure informed her parents that she would be an actress and singer. By age 20, she had achieved her goal. After a notable appearance on the silver screen in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, she starred in Nocturnal Animals, directed by Tom Ford.

“I’m 20 and i don’t have time to do my makeup. I love that The Little Black Palette makes it so simple to apply beautiful, intuitive face makeup.”

Ellie Bamber, 20, Actor

Whether in historical comedy horror Pride and Prejudice and Zombies or psychological thriller Nocturnal Animals, chances are you’ve seen Ellie Bamber on the silver screen. The British actress, who started off in theater acting before transitioning to film, is currently working on a new and decidedly less gory project called Taipei, which is based off of the romantic novel of the same name by Tao Lin. “It’s about a modern relationship and how the digital world and substances contribute to its growth,” explains Ellie, who traveled to Brooklyn and Taipei to shoot the film. “I hope it reminds viewers of a time before social media when there wasn’t always a third person in a relationship,” she continues. “I hope it reminds them of traditional romances where a connection is made through spending time together without the need of electronics and other substances. And that it stresses to women that you don’t need to be tied down by a man and can pursue a career on your own terms.”

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms

We’ve got fantastic news about one of Ellie’s upcoming projects! Today during the D23 Expo 2017, Disney announced that The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, in which Ellie plays Louise, will be released in theaters on November 2, 2018! A preview of the movie was also shown, however it has not yet been released with the exception of a slogan: “The tale you know has a dark side.” The Hollywood Reporter wrote a piece on the movie and the presentaton at D23 Expo 2017, which you can read bellow!

Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms will be gifted to audiences next year.

The live-action remake will hit theaters on Nov. 2, 2018, the studio announced during its D23 Expo. The holiday film takes the previously-announced release date for the live-action Mulan remake, and will open opposite Fox’s action movie Dark Phoenix and an unnamed Paramount film.

Directed by Lasse Hallstrom from a script by Ashleigh Powell, the new version is based on The Nutcracker and the Mouse King by E.T.A. Hoffmann. The Christmastime-set story centers on a young girl named Clara whose favorite toy, a Nutcracker, comes alive and takes her away to a magical kingdom inhabited by dolls. The tale inspired the famous ballet that featured one of Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s most iconic compositions.

Interstellar actress Mackenzie Foy stars as Clara, while Misty Copeland plays the lead ballerina. Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren and Matthew Macfadyen are also among the cast.

At D23, Disney previewed the holiday film with visually-dazzling clips that showed off the cinematography of director of photography Linus Sandgren (Oscar winner for La La Land) and production design by two-time Oscar nominated Guy Hendrix Dyas. The segment also previewed some of the dance moves, with a performance by Lil Buck.
